First Photo is my old original building that is 12 X 28 with an 8 X 20 addition added on the back. This is where all my laying flock stay that I sell eggs from.
Nothing fancy, just old country buildings to (hopefully) keep my birds safe and happy. lol

The next photo is the 8 x 8 coop that I built late 2011 for my first heritage RIR's. I since have moved them into the large coop and am now using this coop for my Don Nelson birds. the lot is 20 X 30 but I think that I am going to split it to 15 X 20 so I can run the Mohawks that will be put in the building that I am just finishing.
First photo shows window that I put wire over then that heavy plastic runner that you put on carpets and just roll it up in summer and put it back down in winter and fasten it to coop wall. Keeps cold out and makes for good ventilation in summer. Door is same only I put wood on in winter. Second shot is just different angle. Third photo is inside the Nelson Coop.

Next photos are of the coop that I am building right now. This coop is 8 X 10. Almost completed, oh am I glad. It sure has been hot working out in this 90 + heat. First and second shots, I have 6 foot solid walls then 2 foot wire up to top. In winter I will close the top in with the heavy plastic runner then roll it up in summer for ventilation. The plastic makes for good natural light to come in.
Second row photo's, left is inside of new coop, right photo is of all three of my coops. In the second photo (top), the fiels sthat you see is all fenced in down to the big tree you see on the right of the coop. This is a 3/4 acre field for them to run in.
